His main exhibitions are titled “Reality, Myth and Dream: Art Without Beginning and End” and “Windows of Light”. His artworks include paintings in different media, sculptures in stones and bronze as well as 2d and 3D digital arts. He has also pursued arts since his childhood. He has lived in many countries in the US, Europe and Asia and been engaged in the questions of human rights together with his wife who had served as Ambassador of Norway in several Asian countries. His writings include cosmology, philosophy, literature of epic dimension, and ideas about how one may build an enlightened social- political order for the future.
Since then the questions of the universe and God had remained the central issues of his life. His transformation began in Bern, Switzerland in 1980 where he came to conceive a poetic journey of “Man” in the company of “Poet and God”. Anup Rej is a physicist, philosopher, poet and artist who was born in Kolkata and educated in India before coming to Norway as a theoretical Nuclear Physicist.
